We have been having a great time at CU!2023 – so much so I haven’t been able to carve out time to write these updates! Sorry about that.
Day 3 saw a “normal” day at CU!23 so we didn’t have a theme night – but the rest of the day was packed full of fun in sessions and still time to chill out! The Main event saw us exploring the stories of the lost coin, sheep and son followed by a great time in small groups exploring those stories more. The weather was … slightly wet .. but apart from the of the occasional time when the rain overwhelmed the drains and it started to rain inside – it didn’t affect us too much!
Day 4 was our fantastic animation / anime theme night. We has a great time creating drama, dance, stop motion animation and flip book animation and then testing our collective knowledge in the quiz. We also watched some animations that were made by the cast and crew before the holiday.
In the main event we looked at Jesus’ reaction to children and also the rich, important man.
The Cast are having a great time – the end of the week is approaching too quickly, but at the same time it feels like we have been here for ages – which is a good thing! With that in mind we would really appreciate prayers for the following:
- Rest – be that sleep or just time out so that we can enjoy the rest of our time together the best we can and that we have hear all the things that God is trying to pass say to us.
- Wisdom – for the Crew as we approach the end of the week – what to say, what to do, to ensure the rest of out time together is is the best it can be and the God’s plan for this is made clear to us
- Health – for the Cast and Crew so we can enjoy the end of the week and travel home safely!
